Powerpoint Rules
Powrpoint has some basic rules in order to make a good presentation. First and one of the most important, don't put every word you are going to say in your slides because this makes the audience know that you don't really know what you are talking about and it also makes the presentation boring. Also, after you finish a slide go back and check for spelling mistakes. Never put too much bullet points because they will loose their purpose of making a key piece of information stand out. Remember to make the background color not distracting and also make sure the color of the font makes it stand out. It is important to keep the presentation short with a minimum number of slides so that the audience doesn't get bored. A problem a lot of people have is that they have too much data in one slide which then gets hard to read and understand. Don't put too much distracting animations for they will be very distracting. Always make the font a good size and easy to read. Following these steps you will always make a great presentation.

Earth Day Videos Peer Evaluation
I learned many thing that I didn't even consider before while grading other videos. This really helped me learn the rubric by heart. Now I noticed I few flaws in my video. For example, I forgot the school policy and put our last names in the credits Both of the videos I graded where actually really good. But there where a few silly mistakes in there like forgetting to put credits. The other errors where really hard to fix like in there is a video of them running and you can hear the wind which is too loud and doesn't let you hear their voices or the music. There are a lot of great things in the 12th grade video. The music goes really well with the voice and it sounds very professional. The problem is that the poem was too short and boring. I am glad we did this so that I could see the errors I was making.

Old Gregg Biography
I was born in a little underwater cave in lake Michigan. I grew with my parents and brothers. When I was old enough we each to0ok our separate ways. Now I live in the Mississippi River. I have become quite famous actually. There are many legends on how I eat the local fishers. The truth is that I don't, I have a steady diet of slurpees and Tai food.......I only knock them unconscious, take them to my cave, and offer them a drink. I get kind of lonely you know. In 2010 I won a granny for my great hit "The Scaly Man-fish" were I talked about my life. I am married to a frog named Geltrudis. My plans for the future are to start a band and travel around the world as The Funk.

8th Grade Video
The eight grade students did a fantastic job creating this video. The part I enjoyed the most was that each segment was made by a different person so it was different to the rest. Each person showed their personality on this video. I would like to learn how to create those types of special effects on a video. The defects were minor and almost unnoticeable. In general they did a fantastic job and I can tell they really worked hard. Here you can see the video.

# 305
I've broken many rules in my life. I I had to choose my favorite 20 broken rules they would be the following. Once In a restaurant I said "No shirt, no shoes, no service" so I decided to go in only wearing my underwear. Another time we started singing a metal song in the middle of a church. I have also broken very simple rules like "don't talk in class" or " don't sleep in class". I don't know if this one counts but I once really mad a police officer mad by making fun of his uniform. I say rules are meant to be broken.
I have not broken, but destroyed rules sometimes. I killed the rule "when your teacher is not in the classroom stall in your chair" by throwing a shoe to a fan and accidentally breaking a light. Another time Sebas, Mateo, Julian and Me ran around a mall in our boxers. Once my mother told me to take care of my sister but I forgot and went out skateboarding leaving her alone (I'm not proud by the way). I always break the "don't look at the answers at the back of the book" rule. Not only break the do not trespass rule but I broke the sign (accidentally). I took a nap next to a sign that said " Please don't step in the grass (now that I think about it I didn't break it because I laid on the grass not stepped on it).
I'm starting to run short on broken rules but I got a few more. One of these is borrowing a golf cart without permittion from a Club and then crashing it (so that counts like two). Also, using your hands in soccer when you are not the goalie... I have done that a lot. A have pretty much Broken rules from every sport. Well that is a part of learning it. Those are all the broken rules I can remember for now.

The Sixth Scence Technology
When I first saw the new technology I was truly amazed. Then I thought that it was about time. We are always seeing movies and TV shows like Star Trek and Star Wars wondering if we are ever going to be that advanced. This is a small step to greater technology. I also really liked when he mentioned that it will help us be more active and not be sitting down in front of a screen all day. Maybe I wouldn't really like to have one right now because it is still too uncommon and a little out there but in a future were this type of gadgets are common count me in! I love how you have take pictures and do more stuff just by doing gestures. Who knows, maybe in a future will will live in a space colony several light years from Earth.
Technology in general has several advantages and disadvantages. Technology has helped us evolve as a species. In we did not have the ability to create technology we would probably be extinct by now. But what is sometimes good to one is harmful to others. Our technology is pollution the Earth and killing the other organisms around us. There are also this theories that we are starting to depend so much in machines that robots will take over the world. Technology is a positive thing as long as we know how to use it wisely.
An open source means that it is free to use, anyone can use it, and that people can modify it ti for fill their needs. There many pros and cons of sharing such a modern software like this one. First of all it is fantastic that anyone can access to it. Of course no one would get a profit from making it. Another good thing is that people could share whatever modifications they make with the rest of the world. One of the open sources I use is Moodle which is great because if I miss a day to school I can see everything they did in class.

What I Did On Winter Break
I had a average Christmas. A few days after school was over i went over to Guadalajara because that's where my family is. We arrived at y grandparents house. My mom would go out shopping for gifts and I would usually stay in the house using the computer or playing pool with my uncle. Finally, we had the family dinner and gift exchange which we have every year. I got a T-Shirt that ended up being to small for me but it was okay because I didn't like it anyways. I gave a cousin a Guess wallet. I said It was a boring gift but m mom insisted. The next day was Christmas. I say my younger brothers open their presents. I didn't get any presents (at the moment) but it was okay because I was sure my parents had bought something on the U.S. and asked a friend to bring it when she came. That same day I went back to Puerto Vallarta with my dad because he had to work and I was just sick of Guadalajara.

On Puerto Vallarta I called up Mark and invited him over to spend a few nights. He brought over his new guitar they gave him for Christmas. We spent some time playing and composing a song. Then, he showed me how to hack computer games. I found that very cool because you could change everything from your money to your level or abilities. We took out my dog on the bike. Since there was only one bike we took turns walking the dog. We were out for like an hour and a half. We were very tired so we had dinner and saw a movie. We were awake until one in the morning then we finally went to bed. The next day we went to Flamingos Beach to hong out. We swam a bit then just relaxed. We ordered a plate of fries and some tropical beverages. We had to go leave him at his house around six.
My god mother who lives in Chicago came over for New Year's. She is like my second mother. She gave me an Egyptian necklace for late Christmas present and then she surprised me with and Itouch which my parents asked her to bring it as a Christmas gift too. I was in shock. I had always wanted one of these. We spent New Year's on Flamingos Beach. There was fireworks and a lot of hugging. We had to hug evrybody from the family and there was at least 30. We at tacos and some more mexican food. We talked, we had fun, and finally, we went home at like 3 in the morning to sleep.
